We specialise in group programmes for school aged students aged 11-18 which can be organised at
any time of the year, for any duration. The school group programmes are based at Dorothy Stringer High School in Brighton,
which have about 1,400 British Students aged 11-16. These 'integrated' school group programmes are very popular, and combine
closed group English lessons in the mornings, with integrated activities with the British students in the afternoons (eg; joining the
British lessons for sports, music, art, computers, cooking, languages and cultural awareness).
The ‘integrated’ lessons are practical and interactive and offer an outstanding opportunity to practice speaking English ‘one to one’
with British students. The activities are also of educational and cultural benefit to the British students. Students can teach and
demonstrate aspects of their culture such as language and phrases, typical songs, games and dances, food and cooking, art and lettering,
geography and so on.
Group programmes can be tailor-made to suit budgets, interests and specific requests, such as number of students per class, hours,
programme content, and accommodation. We can also cater for specific theme programmes e.g. sports tours (Dorothy Stringer is a specialist
‘Sports College’) or British nature and ecology (Dorothy Stringer has an ecology centre at school and a residential centre in Wales)
Please send us your detailed requirements for a quotation. Minimum group size 10, minimum length of booking is one week.
